The Delivery Process

At Winnow Home, the transit of our collection is managed with the same discernment we use to source it. Given that our items range from delicate textiles to architectural timber, we eschew a standardized shipping approach. Every piece is inspected and prepared for transit by hand, ensuring its character remains intact from our door to yours.

Shipping & Rates

Small Objects & Textiles: Dispatched via tracked courier within 3–5 working days.

Furniture & Large Scale Items: For larger pieces, we use a specialist network of couriers experienced in handling unique objects. Shipping is calculated at checkout; however, bespoke quotes can be requested via our Enquiries page prior to purchase.

International Transit: As we are currently establishing our own global trading routes, we facilitate international shipping on an ad-hoc basis. Please contact us directly for a freight consultation.

Local Delivery (Manchester) As a Manchester-based business, we are pleased to offer complimentary local delivery for orders within the Greater Manchester area. In many cases, we prefer to hand-deliver these pieces ourselves to ensure they arrive exactly as intended. If your delivery address qualifies, this option will be available to select at checkout.

The Nature of Found Objects

It is essential to note that the items in our collection are not new. They are reclaimed pieces with significant history. As such, they will possess a natural patina, minor structural irregularities, or evidence of previous repair. We do not view these as defects, but as the soul of the object. We make every effort to document these characteristics through meticulous photography and description.

Returns Policy: All Sales Final

As a small, independent venture specialising in one-of-a-kind finds, all sales at Winnow Home are final. Because our inventory consists of singular, non-replaceable items, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once a purchase is made. This policy allows us to maintain the integrity of our collection and continue our work scouring the globe for new discoveries.

We encourage you to review all descriptions and photographs carefully. We are always available to provide additional images, dimensions, or videos of a piece prior to purchase to ensure it is the right fit for your project.

Damaged Goods

In the rare event that an item is compromised during transit, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence of both the packaging and the object. As a small business, we take these matters personally and will work directly with you to find a resolution.
