Winnow Home is a Manchester-based collection of vintage, antique and handcrafted furniture, objects and textiles. Our work begins with travel, a curiosity about how people live, and the things they choose to keep.

The art of the winnow

A winnowing basket separates grain from chaff. That idea of careful selection gives us our name. Through markets, makers and independent dealers, we seek pieces with character: worn timber, handwoven textiles and useful objects shaped by years of everyday life.

Each piece is chosen individually for its material, construction and presence in a home. We buy what we love, with an inventory that changes as the search leads somewhere new.
