Berber terracotta storage vessel from the High Atlas region of Morocco.
Hand-thrown in earthenware with three loop lugs at the shoulder and a short neck. Vessels of this form were traditionally used for storing grain and other provisions in domestic settings.
The surface shows mineral deposits, firing variation and wear from use.
Minor variations in form and surface consistent with handmade pottery and age. Decorative use recommended.
