A vintage wooden candle holder with remnants of its original blue painted finish.
The unusual architectural form and heavily aged surface give the piece a sculptural quality, with layers of worn blue paint revealing the timber beneath. Designed to hold a pillar candle, but equally good displayed simply as a decorative object.
The piece shows considerable wear from age and use, including cracks, losses to the painted finish and surface marks, as shown in the photographs.
