A large vintage Moroccan decorative plate combining colourful glazed faience with intricate silver and nickel filigree work.
The design is made up of individually worked sections in turquoise, blue, ochre and white, arranged in repeating floral and paisley motifs. Fine metalwork surrounds each section and continues across the surface of the plate, creating a particularly detailed example of traditional Moroccan decorative craft.
A substantial piece at 37cm diameter, suitable for display on a wall, shelf or table.
Vintage condition with areas of wear and discolouration consistent with age and use. Please refer to the photographs for details.
