A small vintage side table made from solid thuya wood in Morocco.
The table has a thick square top supported by three simple cylindrical legs, with the natural shape and grain of the timber visible throughout. The top has irregular edges and tool marks from its handmade construction.
Thuya is a dense North African wood traditionally used by Moroccan craftspeople for furniture and smaller household objects. This is a particularly simple, utilitarian example.
At 36cm high, it works well as a low table beside an armchair or sofa, or could be used as a plant stand or small display table.
Vintage condition with surface marks, wear and irregularities consistent with age and use. Please refer to the photographs for condition.
