A pair of vintage wooden shoe lasts sourced in Portugal, originally used in the making and shaping of footwear.
Made from solid wood, each last has a hinged construction with dark metal fittings and retains its original stamped markings, including the name ‘Maria Beatriz’. The pair has been tied together for display.
Years of use have left the wood with scratches, marks and variations in colour throughout. Now a great decorative object for a shelf, console or studio, particularly for collectors of vintage craft and workshop pieces.
