A tall, lidded ceramic vessel from Safi, Morocco, hand-painted in traditional geometric and floral motifs. The surface is richly layered in tones of cobalt, turquoise and ochre — a quintessential Moroccan palette.
The form is full-bodied with a gently curved silhouette, sitting on a stable base and rising to a fitted lid. The piece is fully glazed, giving a soft sheen that enhances the depth and movement of the hand-painted decoration.
Each example is individually made and painted, with natural variations in pattern, tone and finish that reflect its handmade nature.
